Mid-sem holidays EE THINGS

HOOOO...

It's all about my EE and IA for MID-SEM HOLIDAYS..

       Actually, I am really grief when I knew that the week before the mid-sem holi was Action week..
You want to know why? Of course because during that week there were no classes... So it's means that there will less homework for the holidays..Therefore, my aim for that week was to do my EE and IA...

      Just like I had said before, EE is one of the important element in IBDP.. So I just can't ignore it...  I really spent my holidays to do the EE..

     My EE is about "The awareness of recycling among the youngsters"... So I started it with planning the workflow for my research... Firstly, I had specified it using "1H5W"..

• What:

The awareness of recycling among youngster.

• Who:

So I'm gonna to collect data among the students which I had specified them as KMBIANs.. Which is their age is in range 18- 22 yeas old. So I'm gonna collect sample about 300 people..

• Where:

So it gonna to be KMB itself

• How:

Since I'm gonna do my EE in recycling, I had done some research on it... So I will do :-

1.  Collect data (weight) on the recycling thing// things that had thrown in recycling bins.
2. Survey (awarenees of recycling)
3. Campaign on Green Day
4. Research on recycling thingy

Then, during the holidays, I had done my survey questionnaire which I will give it to them after the holidays.

KMBSC

HI and Assalammualaikum..

Peeps...
Today I'm gonna to talk about KMBSC which is an acronym for Kolej MARA Banting Student Conference...

Oh my God..

      This conference was so fun... It was held in Nilai Springs Resort Hotel..
(Oh my God, this was my first time being in a conference; although it just quite simple one... But it still interesting). This event was held in March 8th; which is on ACTION WEEK...
(This week was so fun fun where we didn't had any classes but only competition...)

        In this conference, Year 1 students were brought to the resort by buses in the early morning to ensure we didn't late to the conference. Next we registered at the lobby of the hall.

         The first talk was about

" The Journey of Young Researchers"

By: Mrs Nurul Adnin Mohd Azali

What her main points was

• Management of time during the research
• Difficulties when doing the research
• Get advises from advisers

" RESEARCH ARE FUN"

That is what can I quoted from her talk... She really admired in the field that she entered... She had passion in research... 

So now, I want to be just like her... Having PASSION in research.. Because RESEARCH is not only about myself but also the whole communities...

           Next, the event was continued with the talk 

"Venturing Toward Continuous Research"

By: Prof. Shaharuddin Salleh from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

What his main points was :

• Why research must be done
• The linked resources 
• His books

" There was many steps in doing research where it could be easy if you make it easy"

That was my favorite line from his talk...

Then, we had lunch and solah time...

The next session was the students (Year 2) presentations on their EE researches... Oh my God.. It was interesting. I had never that one of the presenter was doing her EE in mathematics... She actually discovering the pattern of a cake (KEK LAPIS SARAWAK). Isn't it was beautiful...

"Math is beautiful when you can discovered something"

That is what I can said about the Student Conference..
I think that's it.. What I can conclude is.. If you want to do something.. Be strong and never give up.. Have passion in what you really what..

First thing in EE

Assalammualaikum...Hello..

This is my first time writing a journal..
Actually, I had started my EE since mid-March...
But since it really took times to having this thing...
So I just started this when I had conducted my first data collection..

      So this time, I'm gonna to tell about my process in getting this Extended Essay Research...
Firstly, we were briefed by the EE department in Banting MARA College. In this briefing session, we had got a lot of information and introduction on what actually EE is... To be said that I am really understand is quite incorrect since this is actually a new thing for me. So I didn't expect too much in this but since this EE plays an important role in my programme so I had done my best to do research on this thing...

       After that briefing session, the department had gave us time to do some research. They had give a dateline for us (Year 1) to get an adviser. Actually, I'm planning to do World Religion, but as I think toughly, I had decided to choose World Studies which I'm narrowing it to environment.

       Then I had consulted Mrs Fauziah on this EE thingy. Actually, there were many things that I had in my mind about EE research. But Mrs. Fauziah had gave advises to me to do on environment. Therefore, I had decided to do recycling. Since then, she had confirmed to be my adviser after she look roughly on my proposal.

        So before I went back for Chinese New Year, I had given her my research question which is

"To what extend does the awareness of recycling  among the youngsters?"

Therefore, she had accepted my RQ...

So I think that's it...
